  • Green: @thelittleplantation challenge for today! . I had such a plan for today - it's Connor's birthday and I was going to bake mini coconut Bundt cakes and drizzle them with lime glaze for him and this challenge. . Unfortunately the oven igniter decided to die, which I realized when I opened the door to put them in and it was. . .cold. Luckily Mom helped out by baking them at her house and Dad spliced an igniter from an old stove onto my plug so I could make pizza for dinner. 🍕 . In the end it worked out. The cakes are delicious and I still love this shot of curly mustard greens 💚 #eatcaptureshare
  • Jasmine's birthday was last week and Connor's is next week. We decided to make punch for our parties this year for something special. Half tropical juice + half Sprite topped off with a scoop of vanilla ice cream 😍 I think we'll try ginger ale for Mommy's birthday 😀 This is also my citrus entry for @thelittleplantation photo challenge #eatcaptureshare

  • The recipe for these delicious Gingerbread Madeleines is up on the blog! When the temp is -4 and wind chill -30 we bake to stay warm 😀❄️⛄
  • Joining in The Little Plantation's winter food photography challenge! This definitely the kick in the pants I need to make some new work 📷 When Connor saw me taking these pictures he said "Leeks! They smell like winter. Delicious." If I'm being honest this was the first time I've ever bought leeks and I'd never cooked with them. I promptly found a recipe for creamy potato leek soup and we all enjoyed it for dinner 💚 Thanks @thelittleplantation for a new meal 🙂 Any guesses on how my 8 year old knew what they were?! #eatcaptureshare
